# Troubleshooting

## A photo or video does not show

Image and video settings use files from **Content → Files**. If you uploaded the same file twice, Shopify renames the copy (for example `hero_1.jpg`). Choose the right file again in the section's settings.

## A section I want is missing from a page

Some sections can only be added to certain pages. Click **Add section** on the page where you want it; if it is not in the list, it belongs to a different page type, such as the cart or a product page.

## The cake builder shows no prices for choices

Each paid choice needs its own add-on product, chosen in that choice's block in the cake builder section. See [Cake builder](/frosting/guides/cake-builder).

## The delivery date picker allows dates I cannot bake for

Set the default notice, same-day cut-off, closed day and closed dates in **Theme settings → Delivery and pickup**. A product's own **Lead days** setting overrides the default notice.

## Dark mode colors look wrong

Dark mode uses the **Dark mode scheme** chosen in **Theme settings → Colors**, and gives every other scheme a deep shade of its own color. Check that scheme's colors in the same place. Whether the candle shows, and what first-time visitors see, is set in **Theme settings → Dark mode**.

## The sale timer does not appear

It shows only between its start and end dates and disappears at the end time. Check the dates in **Overlay group → Sale timer**, and that **Show sale timer** is on.
