# Page not found

> A friendly page-not-found screen with a drawing of a cake with a slice missing, a search box and links back into the shop.

## Where to find it

Any address that does not exist. In the theme editor choose 404 page in the page selector.

## How it works

* Up to 4 Button blocks, followed by a link to the home page that always shows.
* Show search adds a search box.
* The search box sends shoppers to the search results page.

## Edit it

* Edit the heading and text.
* Add buttons to your best-sellers, the cake builder or the delivery page.
* Untick Show search to hide the search box.

## Settings

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Color scheme** | Color scheme for this area (edit the schemes in Theme settings → Colors). Default: Scheme 1. |
| **Heading** | Text. Default: This page has been eaten. |
| **Text** | Formatted text (one line). |
| **Show search** | On or off. Default: on. |

<Tip>A link to the home page is always shown after your buttons.</Tip>

## Blocks

Up to 4 blocks. Add a block with **Add block** under the section in the sidebar; drag blocks to reorder them.

### Button

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Label** | Text. Default: Shop cakes. |
| **Link** | Link: a page, product, collection or web address. |
