# Quick view
> Let shoppers preview a product, choose options and add it to the bag from any product card.
Quick view puts a small eye button in the top corner of every product card: home page sections, collections, search, recommendations, recently viewed and the cart page. On hover the button widens to read **Quick view**.
## What opens
* The product's photos, videos and 3D models, with thumbnails and arrows.
* Vendor, title, price and the tax and shipping note.
* Options as buttons, including swatches and pet size cards.
* Quantity, **Add to bag** and, unless you turn it off, **Buy it now** and other express buttons.
* A **See all the little details** link to the full product page.
On phones quick view slides up from the bottom as a sheet. Escape, the close button or a click outside closes it and returns focus to the card; any playing video stops. If a product can't load, shoppers see a message and a link to the product page.
## After adding to the bag
Quick view closes and the cart drawer opens with the new item. When **Theme settings > Cart > Cart type** is Page, shoppers go to the cart page instead.
## Settings
* **Theme settings > Product cards > Show quick view** turns the eye button on or off everywhere.
* **Show accelerated checkout in quick view** controls Buy it now and express buttons inside quick view.
Quick view isn't offered on the small product cards inside the cart drawer. There is nothing to set up per product: it uses the media, options and prices from Shopify admin.
