Size options do not show as pet size cards

The cards appear only on products tagged with the dog or cat tag (by default Dogs and Cats), for options named in Theme settings → Pet size labels → Option names to label (by default Pack size, Size) with 2 to 5 values. Options with color swatches keep the standard picker.

The cart opens as a page instead of a drawer

Check Theme settings → Cart → Cart type; choose Drawer.

No express checkout buttons in the cart drawer

Shopify only shows them when an express method (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) is active in Settings → Payments.

The country or language selector is missing

It appears only when your store sells in more than one country or language. Add them in Settings → Markets and Settings → Languages first. Sections such as Featured collection and Featured blog show nothing until you choose a collection or blog in their settings.
